Fighting a large fish to the boat whether to tag or feed the neighborhood is like a sprint. Most of the time is spent waiting and watching. When the rod is in your hands, it will take all the strength and endurance you can muster, sometime for hours, to win the race. We never know when "the fish of a lifetime" will happen by. Here are the rules that will prepare you for victory.
Hard liquor or drug use is forbidden and not permitted on board.
The Captain is always right and listen to the mate.
Bring your own food and beverages. Keep it simple. A microwave is available. No metal containers or glass bottles. A reasonable amount of beer is okay but remember "the fish of a lifetime" doesn't permit mistakes.
Do not bring tackle. All will be provided. You may bring "ONE" favorite rod if you wish.
Bring clothing for the season. Temperatures on the water are always 20 degrees COLDER than on land. Suntan lotion is a must. Light raingear helps. Bring sunglasses, a hat, a jacket. Wear sneakers or deck shoes.
If you have chosen an ocean trip TAKE a seasick remedy before getting on the boat. Sea conditions are always different than local weather conditions and can change rapidly.
Depending on your target catch, you could be standing all day with a fishing rod and catching fish or relaxing some of day on the couch. Get a good night's sleep, bring a book or playing cards. Be prepared for "the fish of a lifetime".
Most important! You are here to have an exciting and enjoyable day on the water. If you have any special needs or wants, talk to us at booking time so we can prepare.
